Donald Etra Futures Fund

Donald Etra with his wife, Paula, and children Harry and Dani, Dorothy, Anna, and Jonathan in Israel.

Celebrating the Life of Donald Etra

The Donald Etra Futures Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles was established to celebrate and honor the life of Don Etra; loving husband of Paula, father of Harry, Dorothy, Anna and Jonathan, and friend to many. Contributions made to the fund will help establish a lasting legacy to support the charities and causes that Don believed in.

Don loved the water, and moved out to California to be in or near a body of water at all times. As such, we will be contributing a portion of the donations to fund swimming lessons for children who cannot afford them.

Wherever Don went, he always had at least one book in hand, and he believed if you had a book you were never alone. We will also be contributing to programs that teach literacy.

The decision to establish this fund with the Jewish Community Foundation was an easy one for Don’s family knowing Don’s love of helping others. We invite you to make a gift to the Don Etra Futures Fund to help continue Don’s legacy of compassion and love.

Thank you so much for ensuring that Don's legacy will live on forever.

With love,

Paula, Harry, Dani, Dorothy, Daniel, Anna, Jonathan, and Sade
